I do not believe there is an engraving option for iPhones.
You can take it to an external engraver after purchase, but Apple does not appear to offer the service.
I would not recommend doing this, as this will make the phone impossible to sell when you're ready to upgrade, and there is a huge market for second-hand phones. As a company, we sell our 2-year old phones and get at least a couple of hundred dollars for them on the second-hand market, but if they had any names engraved on them, we'd get nothing. Right now Verizon is taking our old phones for more than what we initially paid for them - but they wouldn't give us 1 cent if we had something engraved on them. Just saying.
Also you would have problems getting any warranty service.
