Since the El Capitan update, why does my mac only import photos to iPhoto but not to my other apps?

I updated to El Capitan and now my computer only recognizes my camera when I'm importing to iPhotos. I, and many professional photographers adobe bridge users and not being able to import to Bridge, disrupts workflow. This is very frustrating to those who have to meet deadlines.

You are not communicating to Apple on these forums, we are all end users like yourself that are volunteering our time. Do you have a question or do you want to provide feedback to Apple? If you have feedback for Apple, the correct location is www.apple.com/feedback
