I have the first ipad. When I try to download an application it states that I need the ios6 or ios7. I have tried to download on my ipad but unable to. How do I download with my ipad connected to my computer? TY.

Hi You can install the latest compatible version of the app using the instructions given by Apple. You need to open the App Store, hit the Purchased tab and then tap on Download. You will get a message telling whether the compatible version is available.

You cannot update the iPad 1 to anything higher than iOS 5.1.1. If you are already at that version, you can update iOS no further.
