iPod & Macbook ID & Password conflict.

Ever since updating my iPod Touch to iOS9 I cannot have any updates for my Apps. The iPod keeps asking for my ID and Password which it then rejects and asks for verification followed by a request to change my Password. However, there is not problem signing-in with the same ID and Password on my Macbook Air. The only response I received from Apple Support was that I must be typing my Password in wrong! Any one know of what is wrong with this problem?

Try signing out and back into your Apple ID in the iPod's Settings in the following places: iCloud, Apps & iTunes Stores, Messages, FaceTimes, and GameCenter.
