Cannot edit iCloud aliases in OSX Mail 9.0

After upgrade to El Cap my aliases in Mail disappeared. I cannot add them in "edit alias" in accounts. Any attempt to use the edit alias window causes a freeze requiring me to quit Mail to close the window. Help? Thanks!
