MacBook Pro mid 2014 OS X El Capitan AirDrop not working with iPhone 5s

I just updated my MacBook pro mid 2014 to OS X El Capitan. I tried using AirDrop to transfer files with my iPhone 5s but it doesn't detect my iPhone, nor my iPhone detects the MacBook.

I thought it was phone problem so I went to reformat the phone. Tried again but still no luck. I was wondering if there's any bugs or what.

Thinking to format the MacBook but formatting will take a long time and to reinstall all softwares will be a hassle.

I allow AirDrop to be seen by everyone for both devices, but still cannot work.

May I know how to troubleshoot this AirDrop problem?
