I am having difficulty deleting emails

Question

I have a IMAC and I am having trouble deleting email.

This has occurred sing updating to OS X El Capitain Version 10.11

The message says there is ...an error occurred while moving a message to trash -- icloud

I am using the delete key.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Carol,

Try rebuilding the mailboxes per Mail (Yosemite): Rebuild mailboxes and then retest. Let us know if that helps.
