No transition when flipping between live photos on album

Got my iPhone 6s plus and one of the functions are missing. i can't see a transition between live photos when flipping through the album. I've seen my friend's iPhone 6 and it could perform that function. i am just wondering why my phone is missing this. is this in part of the settings? kindly assist me in this. thanks!
