ipad 3 vs mini 2

I don't use my ipad a lot - was actually thinking of selling it, but it's good for Netflix, watching movies when traveling, etc. I have an ipad 3 32gb and have the opportunity to trade it to my sister-in-law for an ipad 2 mini 16gb (she got newer mini and is donating old one, and since ipad mini 2 is newer model I have choice to take that as she offers family first choice).

As it stands now I have over 16gb used, mostly movies. Of course I can always use my iphone as well to watch movies, etc. while traveling, so I am curious if you were in my situation, would you trade or keep the ipad 3?
