Siri problem on the iPhone 6S Plus

My iPad Air 2 running iOS 9.0.2 has no problems with Siri, but my new iPhone 6S Plus is acting weird with siri.

FIrst of all, when holding the home button, the iconic Siri ring isn't activating, and when Siri replies back to you, no voice feedback is given, just text. I have checked the settings, and voice feedback is on, the phones ringer is on (not on silent) and volume is max.

See this:

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

As it says near the bottom in the section: "If Siri doesn't make a sound when you hold down the home button"

"You'll only hear the chime on your iPhone with iOS 9 or later when you're using headphones."

Your iPhone and iPad are behaving perfectly normally... at its startup. Siri should supply voice feedback in response to a question, however. Again check Settings > General > Siri > Voice Feedback = "Always"
