I would like to buy a mac book pro online like amazon, flipkart website. Is it safe, can i claim warranties. I am from india.

I have been informed by Apple customer care, that products purchased from Flipkart are covered, as Flipkart is their autorized online reseller. I even asked if it applies to a macbook pro sold by another seller on the flipkart site, and not WS Retail. I was informed that, as long as I have purchased from Flipkart, I would not have any issues.

Please do reconfirm this, however, by calling customer care.
