Q: Trackpad problems when USB audio device plugged in

It seems like the trackpad on your MacBook Pro is erratic when you plug in USB audio interfaces.
To troubleshoot this, I'd recommend Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac first.
Next, try starting up in safe mode as mentioned in Trackpad or Magic Trackpad is jumpy or erratic.

With the Support site, I like to use the search (magnifying glass icon) on the main page. You can filter search results by specific Apple products or Recommended solutions from the Communities, for example.
