Want to Stop notifications while recording a video

Would like to stop popping-up notifications while i am recording a video in screenflow.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

You can set do not disturb by

Set Do Not Disturb for specific times

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Notifications.
Select Do Not Disturb at the top of the list on the left.
On the right, select when to turn off all notifications

As far as I know you cannot set DND by application.
