How do I find my administrator name and password for my mac book pro on my IOS X Lion?
MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.3.x)
System Preferences -> Users & Groups. It will be the account labeled 'admin'
There is no way to find the password. It is not stored as clear text. Rather passwords has send through a 1-way hash and the hash is stored. When you enter the password, it is 1-way hashed, and compared to the stored hash to see if you got it right.
