How do I do a hard reset on my ipad if it is frozen and wont power down.
The equivalent of a hard reset on iOS devices is just Reset. Reset your device by holding down the Wake/Sleep and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't solve your issue, you might need to Restore from backup.
