Netflix can not be accessed from my Apple TV they say I need to update my software from my current version however when I go to settings and software update it says that my software is updated.
assistance please.......

Netflix has always been available on the 2nd gen. Check settings - main menu to ensure it hasn't been hidden. Has the device been modified?
NO modifications, I have went to setting and can't find any hidden area's
Did you specifically go into Settings - main menu?
What icons are currently on your menu screen?
Have you tried a restore?

when end I go into settings the only options are, general, iTunes Store, audio&video, AirPlay, computers and sleep now.
when I go into general settings down to update software it tells me your Apple TV is up to date.
there is no restore option only reset and restart.
You need to go into reset, then choose restore.
Then you're going to have to do it via iTunes
