MY mail keeps showing I have 18000 emails. How do I get them off? I delete 500 at a time and still have thousands! On my iPhone and iPad.

Yes, if you have 18,000 emails and you delete 500, you'll still have 17,500 left 😉
If your email servers are IMAP, you might find it easier to delete the emails on your computer, which then would sync that state to your devices. One approach would be to Sellect All, then ussyelect the emails you want to keep and delete the remaining highlighted ones.
