I feel so slow... but my roommate has been using my mac when I've been at work and now of a sudden I have the weirdest icon. Nothing shows up when I click it either so maybe you guys can help....
It's in the top right between the bluetooth and chrome notification(the bell) icon.
Any help would definitely be appreciated, thank you!!

You can try control click, option click, command click and see if anything presents itself.
You can look at your activity monitor for a clue.
~/Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app
