App to Map Area Covered by Trees

I work at a camp during the summer. The camp uses a hand drawn map of the camp grounds which is entirely not accurate or proportional. Using Google Maps is unable to render the paths since it is covered by dense trees. Is there any iPhone GPS app that can reveal road/foot paths without the foliage? Or is there an app that can recorded the paths that I walk on at camp so I can get a rough rendering of the camp grounds?

There are specialized apps for hikers. Perform a search on App Store to see if your specific area is covered.

If your area is well mapped, the trails might be shown when you disable Satellite View and zoom in in conventional map view.

Lastly, you can search for a printed map of your area, such abs by USGS or local conservation groups, then just scan the map for your use.
