IOS9 Contacts Defaulting to ICloud and Email Contacts

Is anyone else having an issue where all email contacts are showing up along with the Icloud contacts? When I am using the phone feature and go to the contacts tab, all I used to and want to see are the Icloud contacts that are people I call and text, not my email contacts.

I can uncheck my email and only check off Icloud for the groups I want to see, but the problem is the phone keeps randomly defaulting to showing all the email and Icloud contacts together.

If anyone else has this issue or a work around, please advise. Thanks
