Update unavailable with this Apple ID

iPhone 5, running iOS 9.0.2. Can't update any Apps. On iTunes on my PC, I can see all my Apps. When I try to update the Apps, I get the error msg "Update unavailable with this Apple ID. This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or refunded or cancelled". I've only ever used one Apple ID - and this is the ID I've used to logon to iTunes, where I can see all my Apps....

From other posts, it looks like this error msg caused problems a year ago - but presumably was fixed at some point.

Have done a hard re-set on the phone, no help.

Anyone else suffering this?
