iPhone 6 not turning on

Hi guys,

Last night my iPhone 6 ran out of battery and so this morning I plugged it in however, it does not want to turn on fully.

When I plug it in the screen flashes up with the usual battery sign and charger, but then the charger disappears.

Then the apple sign flashes up and everything seems to be working fine BUT after a little while of the apple sign my background flashes up for maximum 1 second then it goes back to black screen (shuts down) and battery sign reappears and the cycle repeats.

It seems that the battery is not holding its charge?

I live in Dubai and I do not think there is an Apple store here yet.

Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.
