My iPad's screen went black and I can't reset it

My iPad 4 (IOS 8.0.2) screen went black. I can't open it because when I press the home button it only activates Siri (Although I think Siri can hear me). I can't reset the iPad though because the sleep/wake button is broken. So far I'm just waiting for the battery to drain out (This might take a while though because I can't do anything) but if there's a faster solution, please tell me. Thanks in advance!
