I have a iPad iOS 5 , I don't find any update for this device, pls help to update ios

First-generation iPads cannot be upgraded past iOS 5.1.1 due to hardware limitations. Look on the back for the model number. 1Gen iPads that are WiFi only are model A1219; those with both WiFi and cellular capabilities are model A1337. If yours is newer it can run the latest version of iOS.

Thanks. I have model number A1337. How do I go about updating to IOS9 as the software update page is silent on this ?

As Allan pointed out a First Generation iPad cannot be updated beyond iOS 5.1.1

If yours is a model A1337 then its a First Generation iPad Wifi + Cellular and cannot be updated.

For easier identification, if it has no camera its a first Generation, and cannot be updated.

As Allan already mentiones, the first generation iPad cannot run any version of iOS higher than 5.1.1. If you want iOS 9 you need to purchase a newer iPad. Your A1337 is an original model iPad so cannot be updated to iOS 9

That's a very clear answer. - thanks very much. Won't be able to download the Daily Telegraph any more since that has upgraded to IOS9. Shame !!

The only thing you can do is to upgrade ipad to a later one.

Ipad air 1 is a good buy at £359.00 was £479.00 for 32G
