How to merge partition in OS X El Capitan

You need to:

1. Erase Bootcamp partition;
2. Unmount partition;
3. Go to your Apple HDD partition and click "Partition";
4. Double click on your "unmounted" partition and click "–"

It says I need to "Enable Journaling" but even if I do so, it still says that I need to enable journaling. Completely upset with Apple's software.
