Updating from Aperture 3.5.1 to Aperture 3.6 - App Store says 'update Currently unavailable' in El Capitan

I understand I need to update to 3.6.1 to get Aperture to work on El Capitan... But App Store says update currently unavailable and I think photo's is ****. So need a fix... has anyone else experienced this?

I do have lightroom, but my library is built in Aperture and Photo's doesn't seem to keep the projects or library content even if you use Aperture as your base for Photo's... this is sooooooo frustrating...

I have similar problem, I can not even display Aperture after I install the new el capitan.
I must say that this is not a really good job from apple. There are many of us that keep working with.

We need an answer or an update to solve this crap el capitan

Hi Lanny, I've searched the forums the only fix i found was to add aperture the trash then re-open App Store then i should have an install button instead of an update button... this does work, the update just disappears altogether...

if you seen another fix please share in this thread.
