How to Change a regional calendar to a standard English calendar

Hi,

I use Macbook 2010 Model,My concern is how do i change local calendar to a standard English calendar.

I am based out of india and i do have currently access to Hindu National Calendar which displays months/Dates as per the sanskrit version such as chaitra(For the month of the january) and so on, which i really don't understand since the days and dates are different from the standard english calendar However many a times i tried to change through calendar preferences options but could 'nt able to sort it.
