audio stops frequently on iTunes playback

audio seems to stop frequently when playback on iTunes esp when i go to other sites that requires sound playback devices too. using Windows 8.1 on smart touch desktop. pls share yr solution. thanks.

I have this issue as well, the show/movie will play for a few minutes (topped out at 7) then the audio will cut off. I can use netflix and youtube just fine just seems to be itunes.I am using a desktop with a hdmi cable if that helps.
