iPhone 6 touch screen stopped working.

I was browsing on safari today and suddenly my iPhone stopped performing. Everything stopped performing. My touch was not working the only thing working was the Assistive Touch. All the remaining things stopped working. Please give me some solution regarding this error. Only Assistive Touch was working properly and even I couldn't slide or perform any of the operations and hence I was forced to reset my iPhone through find my iPhone app and now it started working properly.

Please provide me with a solution to overcome this situation if I face it again.
