Unable to restore my iPhone 5s using the recovery mode. Help needed ASAP!

Hello to everyone.

I don't really know how to start this but I am unable to restore my iPhone 5s using the recovery mode after it suddenly goes to blue screen of death after leaving it charging overnight when i woke up to this. I tried to restore it using the recovery mode otherwise known as DFU Mode, but none of good outcomes in result. My iPhone 5s was on iOS 9.0.2 when it is still working fine. Problem is, when i was restoring on recovery mode, the iPhone starts to boot up while the 'Extracting the software' and apple logo appeared. In the mean time, my iPhone was showing the progress bar with Apple logo on top of it, and when the update was on 'Waiting for iPhone', it failed to restore. An error will show up stating that this iPhone 'iPhone' can't be restored error code (9).

I tried all the solutions recommended by Apple, including replacing the USB used, updating my mac OS, check the security of my mac and countless of efforts I've tried. This kept happening when I tried to restore it. Error code 9 will always appear.

Any recommendations or solutions? I need help as soon as possible. Thank you

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.2

If you've tried all the steps recommended by Apple, I don't think there's much we users can do for you.

Sounds like you need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

I just had the same problem with my Iphone 5. Never had a problem for two years, updated to IOS 9.0.2 and the battery was not holding a charge. Put the phone on the charger, after a while it shut down. Complete black screen! No response. I connected it to I Tunes and was able to put it in recovery mode but at the "waiting for I Phone . . ." it stops, get error message 4005. Called Apple Support explained the problem, they walked me through the same steps with the same result. Surprisingly they did not think that the problem was related to the IOS 9.0.2 update!! A hardware problem. Very coincidental. Took the phone to the Apple store where I bought it. They tried all the same things with no luck. Of course their is no warranty and Apple is assuming no responsibility for the problem, they will send it to the service center. Interestingly, the store told me that I will probably get a different phone that has been "refurbished" for a unspecified price!!
