Are you using the computer you are using to post to this forum? I ask since this forum requires a secure connection.
What OSX version
What sites are you having problems with??
Are you running an anti virus program? If so, uninstall it.
Try with another browser like FireFox or Chrome.
I dont have an anti virus, and I have tried Firefox and it was the same
I am using the computer I am having the problem with, I dont know what OSX i am using but I have had it about 4/5 years
Click on the Apple icon in upper left and select About this Mac. The OSX version and other information will be listed.
It could be that your version of Safari is too old for some secure sites.
You can try downloading/installing FireFox or Chrome browsers.
Again; what sites are you having problems with?
It is OSX 10.6.8
What site?
Out of curiosity - have you got software called Trusteer Rapport installed? I found that this once stopped me from accessing HTTPS websites after an OS upgrade.
Try another browser like FireFox or Chrome. The latest version of Safari in 10.6.8 is not supported by some secure sites since that version has security vulnerabilities. FireFox and Chrome are still fully updated for even 10.6.8.
