icloud

I have an old email address on my icloud on iphone. How do I change it to my new email address.. it keeps asking for a password and refusing ones I put in. I have set up a new account but it always goes to the old email address.

Use iCloud on the internet with your apple id. It should create you or add an iCloud email address. Then sign into your apple id on your iPhone.

Yes, I tried that and put the new email address in on the computer, which was accepted. Then I went to the iphone and it was still showing the old email, which is now defunct.. there were no other options.
