Deleting Apps

I work at a school and have taken over the responsibility of managing the iPads.

Some staff members have created their own apple id on school iPads and have installed apps, which I cannot update or remove, as it was not completed with the school account. When I press on these apps to delete, they shake, but no X appears.

Is there a way to delete these apps without me having to hunt down babyjanetrapper to get him/her to sign into their apple account and delete the app themselves?

Any suggestions?

Hey TessieLo,

I see that you have a question about controlling some iPads that are property of your school and will be handed out to teachers for classroom use. Apple has some software built to help you administer these iPads more efficiently, and there is some information about that software here:

Business & Education - Apple Configurator - Apple Support

You can find Configurator in the Mac App Store:

Apple Configurator 2 on the Mac App Store

Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.
