Ipad Air 2, compatible with new Microsoft and Adobe applications.

Hi guys,

I'm purchasing a new Apple product, and I was thinking about the Ipad Air 2. I am no longer a student and I don't use my computer for work either therefore my Macbook Pro is being used for basic functions.

I was interested with the new application that the new Ipad Pro offers like the Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe new Red Velvet. Are these applications compatible with the new Ipad Air 2? I'm not interested in the Ipad Pro because I won't use it to it's full potential. Has someone purchase the new Ipad Air 2 and has the Microsoft and Adobe applications?
