Running iOS 9.0.2 on my iPhone/iPad
Is there a way to retain a copy of my notes on the iPhone/iPad so that I can have access when not connected to the internet?
Are Notes on my iPhone/iPad saved via iTunes when I sync on my MacPro?

Changed some stuff on MBP yesterday and viewed on iPhone today and the updates have occurred ...
It most definitely syncs through iCloud so you should leave Notes included for backup on all your devices
Sorry, guess I did not frame my question properly.
I wish to keep a copy of my Notes on my iPhone so that I can access them even when not connected to the internet.
iCloud sync works great; but that only leaves at the Notes in the "All iCloud" folder.
How can I sync these to the Notes folder "On My iPhone"?

Ok - sorry for the crossed wires -
1. The All iCloud folder is also available off line (IOW one does not have to be online to access those notes)
2. If there is a reason you want it on your phone folder then I would just make a copy from one to another
That's great news..I turned off my WiFi & the iCloud Folder contents were still present!

PS Is there a way to copy the entire iCloud Folder to the On My iPhone folder or does one have to copy & paste individual notes ?
