After updating to IOS 9 my contacts are no longer visible in the surface of the app.
I can search for them, and they seem to be existent. But I cannot se'em in the surface anymore.
I have done another sync with my mac, in vain.
I was not connected to ICloud with my contacts.
So what should do? Wait or go back to IOS 8?

Maybe the description is unclear:
When I start the contacts.app, I won't see any contact under "All contacts".
Before the update I saw the complete list of contacts here alphabetically sorted.
When I do a search in the search-window, I do find the contact.
Mail will also find them.
So they are just hidden. Or is this a new "feature"?
Found the error. I just had to mark all the groups ("All iPad").
Now all contacts are visible again.
So I guess, that really was'nt an IOS9 issue.
