Q: Bluetooth not working on El Capitan Macbook Pro

I used to use my Bose Soundlink II and Soundlink mini bluetooth speakers to connect to my laptop and playback music but ive noticed my macbook pro is no longer able to connect to it. The after deleting if off the previously paired devices menu to try and re-establish a connection between the two my mac actually no longer sees any bluetooth devices at all and refuses to connect to anything

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11)

    I just solved it.

You need to reset your Bose Speaker.

    1. Unpair or delete the Bose profile from the macbook bluetooth settings
    2. Now you need to reset the Bose. Hold the MUTE button down until all the LEDS flash. This will take about 10-12 seconds
    3. Power it on for bluetooth connectivity
    4. Re-pair it to your macbook.

    should now work
