deleting apps from ipad

you hold down on the app icon until it wiggles, then tap the X on the icon to delete the app. Tap the home button to stop all of the apps from wiggling.

You can delete the pre installed apps and if for some reason you do not see the X when hold down on the icon, go to Settings>General>Restrictions>Deleting Apps and make sure that you are allowing app deletion.

Actually you CANNOT delete the default apps that come with iOS 9. You can only delete apps downloaded after setting up the iPad.
