Try removing the playlist entirely and then adding it back again afterwards.
To remove the music playlist from your watch:
- On your iPhone, in the Apple Watch app, go to: My Watch > Music > Synced Playlist > None.
- Then place your watch on the charger, with power connected.
To add it back, repeat the sync process:

Oct 10, 2015 4:54 PM in response to Figster512by Jonathan UK,In that case, try restarting both your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off first, then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:
- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off.
- To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
