How do I show Bookmark Bar in Safari 9 / El Capitan?
I just upgraded to a new Macbook Air and El Capitan at the same time (starting fresh with this device not transferring bookmarks/folders etc over). Prior to this I loved having my frequently used sites in the Bookmark Bar at the top of Safari. With the new Macbook I haven't found an option anywhere to turn on bookmark bar, only favorites bar. Are these two things one and the same now?? I don't see how they can be because when I add a website to Bookmarks Bar it doesn't appear on the bar at all. Only things listed as favorites. And Favorites bar doesn't have the mini icons for each bookmark. Also when I click the grid icon in upper left I can see a list of sites under 'Favorites' and a list under 'Bookmark Bar' so if they are two separate entities why can't I show Bookmarks Bar at the top of my browser??
Not sure if this makes a difference, but I have safari turned off in iCloud preferences of this device - I don't want these bookmarks (that I am trying to add) to populate my other devices.
I am guessing I am missing an obvious step here, but I am baffled - I can't even find the answer on youtube or Google.
Can anyone help me turn on/show Bookmarks Bar???
Thank you in advance!
Bob
