Q: How can I restart my frozen Apple Watch?

My Apple Watch froze yesterday morning when I turned it on. I turn it off BEFORE I plug it into AC. Seemed to work until Saturday morning. my Move on Activity was stuck at 39 cal. and refused to credit me with 3 hours of Standing for at least 1 minute/hour.

I have updated to watchOS 2, and my iPhone 6plus is updated to iOS 9.0.2

This is NOT a hardware issue but, Apple Watch has 2 categories: Hardware and Accessories.

Watch Standard 38mm, watchOS 1.0.1

    Hi

Ensure that your watch is fully charged - leave it on the charger with power connected for 4 hours.

Then try restarting or, if that doesn't help, force restarting - your watch:

    - Restart: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off; press and hold the side button until you see the logo.

    - Force restart: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the logo.

Note that Apple Watch cannot be in a turned off state during charging, so:

    - It is not necessary to turn it off before connecting it to the charger.

    - There is no need to turn it on when removing it from the charger.
