Does Time Capsule support Multicast?
In order to use TC as a router for IPTV, it must support Multicast. However I cannot make that work properly....

It does support multicast.. it is already turned on by default.
IPTV can have a fairly complex setup depending on the broadband type you are using..
Tell us more about the main modem .. what is it .. brand and model??
If you remove the TC (substitute another router if needed) does multicast work??

I have only tried with the old version of TC and that did not work. I was informed it was because Apples TC does not support Multicast. Is it different with he new version of TC?
If I use another router, like Linksys, it does function perfectly. But with my old TC, i do get sound, but no picture. Furthermore, I get an information on Airport, that I have a double NAT

This is your problem..
The airport should be in bridge not router mode.. that is killing the Multicast.
If you use old utility.. ie v5 it will show you that multicast is indeed available and turned on in the latest TC or Extreme.
It is set to low but auto adjusts.. in older TC you might want to use the old utility and set it to high.. but it is only relevant I should think with TC in router ..
Open wireless options.
Multicast is there and turned on.. this is default and nothing I did.. you cannot adjust it in later models.
