Dropped iPhone 6 in the toilet. Still worked at first, what to do now?

So I know there are a lot of topics about dropping your iPhone in the toilet. But mine is a little bit different. I know what I did was very stupid, but I dropped it in the toilet, took it out in less than 2 seconds, dried it with toilet paper and shook my phone. It dried and everything worked perfectly. I could continue to text, make photos, etc. the only thing was that the sound didn't work. After 10 minutes it still worked, even when I turned it off and turned it on. The thing was that my home button kept 'pressing itself'.

Then I put it in a bag of rice for like 17 hours and when I turned it on again it worked, but the home button was still acting weird. Even when I charged it nothing else happened (I know, charging was a very very stupid idea). I decided to be sure and opened up my iphone and put a lot of silica gel around it, put it in a dry place and i will leave it there for a few days. Will it work again? Is there any other way to prevent further damage? And if the home button still acts weird, can I replace just the part that got broken?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.0.2

You need a new phone, sorry. Wet energized electronics fry themselves from shorts and overloads. That sort of damage cannot be repaired.

For future reference , if you get ANY electronics wet, turn them off immediately (remove battery if that is possible with a given device) and then put them in a bag of desiccant (rice works in a pinch, but desiccant is better) for a 5-7 days at least. You need to be sure they are completely dry before energizing them again. Note too that this is no guarantee as if on when they got wet, the damage done may effectively occur instantaneously.
