Macbook Pro Late 2013 Retina Windows 7 Audio Driver (Solved)

Installed Boot Camp with Windows 7. Audio driver was a complete pain in the @$$ to find and install. Windows auto-installed a Microsoft HD Audio driver, but this left the red light (S/PDIF Optical) in the jack on, and sometimes headphones/headset wasn't recognized.

Found the driver on this page (Second "Download" link): http://www.driverscape.com/download/cirrus-logic-cs4208-%28ab-120%29

File link: http://www.driverscape.com/files/2014/notebook/apple_cirrus_logic_hd_audio_win64 .zip

You'll probably have to go to Device Manager and uninstall/remove the driver after installing the file. Might need a restart. Afterward it works fine.

Why this file isn't included in the Boot Camp Software package I'll never know...

You may have the WHQL drivers from the link you used. Try the BC 5.1.5640 drivers from the link. I have the CS4208 installed from this package.
