Isolating a Homekit device to be referred to only within your zone.

I have an Elgato Eve Weather device setup and connected using Homekit (for which the AppleTV is the Homekit Hub), but now Siri only refers to the Eve results when I ask for weather details in the local area (approx. 10 mile radius). How do I isolate Eve so it is only used by Siri when I ask for weather using my the name of my zone, room or device?
