Hi, the Youtube app on my Macbook Air is there but won't open. I've recently uninstalled Google Chrome if that could be part of the problem.

Hi, On my dock and in Launchpad I have theYoutube icon, when i click on it nothing happens other than an error report. I can search and use Youtube via Safari but I should be able to open youtube via the icon on my dock like I could before.
The only thing I have changed recently is I uninstalled Google Chrome, I know Youtube is part of Google so I'm wondering if uninstalling it has also uninstalled Youtube.
I'd just like to get it back to the way it was before where I click on the Youtube icon and it opens without using my web browser.
