Q: iMac freezes every 24 to 36 hours
Hi All,
About a week ago my late 2012 iMac began freezing. The last messages in the system log are:

This series of messages appear to repeat every minute or so.
Late 2012 iMac
Intel Core I 7
Processor Speed: 3.1 GHz
OS Yosemite 10.10.5
3 Western Digital MyBooks attached and a WD Ext HDD 1021 serving as a Time Machine drive
Any suggestions as to how to pursue this further appreciated.'
