    Hi there Nellie02,

It sounds like you've been making entries into the Notes app on your Mac and you want them to sync to your iPad and iPhone.

This could happen for a few reasons:

    • The Notes option not being turned on in the iCloud account settings for the affected devices
    • The devices are not signed into the same account
    • The Notes app was upgraded after you updated to iOS 9

First I would check at www.icloud.com to see if the notes you've been entering on your Mac are there. If so then that tells me the settings on your iOS devices may not be correct.

On the other hand, if the opposite is true and you cannot see them at www.icloud.com then I would look at the settings on the Mac instead

Use the following webpage to check iCloud on whichever device you determine is not setup correctly based on the isolation steps above:

iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices

On the other hand if you upgraded your Notes apps on your devices when you installed iOS 9, the only way you will be able to do this is by upgrading your Mac OS X version to 10.11 El Capitan or by adding the notes on www.icloud.com:

    Before you upgrade your notes

While you can upgrade your notes now on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 9, you won’t see the new features on your Mac until you download El Capitan. The notes on your Mac will stay the same and they won't sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that have upgraded notes.
