I'm having a problem with Preview:
When I scroll through large PDFs, it freezes up and I get the spinning beach ball until I force quit.
It seems like Preview can only render so many pages until it dies.
This is very frustrating.
Does anyone have any solutions?

By "Large PDF" do you mean one that is crammed full of images and thus makes the file size large, or one that has many pages, or one that has a default page size of a relatively large format (ie, 16x19 inches, as opposed to 8.5x11 inches).

I am referring to a book-like PDF: maybe over 300 pages, black and white, few images, etcetera
I am also having this same problem with 500 page long books in pdfs, I am constantly getting the beach ball of death. With Yosemite I rarely got this on the same files. Please fix this apple.
