MY iPhone 5s turned off and I cannot turn it back on.Does anyone know what this means?

It could be for any reason. Try a forced restart. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Ignore the Slide to Power off if you see it. The phone should reboot. If this does not do it, then connect the phone to the charger for at least 30 minutes and then attempt the forced restart while still connected to power. You can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the battery tested if necessary.
